Evaluation on Who's Next Film Poster:

For my film poster I decided that I would use a dark image in the woods because this is a still image if I had used a image that was brightly coloured the audience might not be able to signify the genre of this film. The colours in this image are blacks, whites and greys. These colours signify danger, fear and dispair. Although our footage is filming in colours rather then the colours on the poster we have colour corrected them to make it seem more darker. Also the audience will have something to follow so the genre is clear through actions.

Who's Next? - Final Opening sequence.

Evaluation Question 6.

What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

For this evaluation we are going to be videoing our selves showing you what we have learnt and now able to do with the different peices of equiptment and softwares thoughout the process of making our opening sequence. This video will include how to use a digital camera and tripod, how to use final cut express, the effects we have used to produce our final draft, different ways to blog and how to set up blogger, how we uploaded our opening sequence and any other extra softwares we used in the process. 
The first part of this video will be about how to use final cut express and how you upload videos, add affects and the audio. Then the video will move on to blogger and different ways to blog including pictures, prezis and any other word documents.

The fact that we could all individually automatically access a YouTube account as the same details are used for our google accounts has been very handy as we haven't had to spend time making more and more accounts for each programme/technology. Its also been useful that those details are able to be used for our blogger accounts as well. YouTube is a great website as we've been able to post everything we've needed to and with YouTube, you can edit how it will look, change the caption, and many other things.

How you export videos from Final Cut Express

1. Go to Final Cut Express
2. Go to FILE, then EXPORT, then QUICKTIME CONVERSION. 
3. Then follow the instructions as carefully as possible. (It's very important to do this as if any wrong option is selected, the video won't work and will come up different on YouTube)
4. Name it and choose where you would like your video to be saved on the computer. 
5. Change the format to MPEG-4.
6. Click on the options button.
7. Change the file format to MP4, be very careful now, as there are other options similar to this. 
8. Change video format to H.264.
9. Change data rate to 8000.
10. Change image size to 1920 x 1080.
11. Click ok.
12. Click save.

Questionnaire



We've created a questionnaire as a way of gaining feedback on if they like our opening sequence, which parts were the most effective and why, and whether they think it suits our specific target audience.




Firstly, we showed them a rough copy of our opening sequence, and explained that we were not at the final stages of our editing therefore it was not entirely completed.




We began with asking questions including their age, gender and favourite genre of film. This helped us gain an understanding of what types of opinions and feedback we'd be receiving and why.

They then moved onto filling in the rest of the questionnaire, and asked them to answer it as honestly as they possibly could as this would improve the reliability of our feedback.

• In our questionnaire, we asked the following questions...
• Do you think the location was suitable for the genre and fitting to the plot?
• What did you think of the acting?
•  Was it convincing?
• Do you think the effects on the lighting looked right?
• What was your favourite part?
•  eg shots, locations, props, dialogue.
• Did it make you want to find out what happens later on in the film?
• Were there any elements that could have been executed more successfully?
• Overall, did you enjoy it or not?

We made sure the people we asked our questions to fit in with our target audience...15 years old - 30 years old Both boys and girls "Thrill-seekers" .An interest in horror films/horror and paranormal documentaries/ TV dramas with sinister plots. A younger audience Mainstream style or potentially the other end of the scale: punk/rock/gothic style.

• From our audience feedback, we found out that out of everyone we asked, everyone loved our choice of location. We were told its the perfect location as it looks like a typical place for  kidnapping, it added a chilling atmosphere, we filmed on a good day as it looked cold and it was very conventional of the genre. 

• Overall, our audience liked the acting and thought it was very convincing, however one person said the acting in the scene in the house wasn't as good as the rest of the opening sequence. One person on the other hand said they loved the acting especially Naya's voice during the voice mail calls over the credits as they sounded realistic and scared. 

• The effects we added onto the lighting was liked by all of our audience. Everyone said they hadn't even noticed we had used the effects as they were done so well. Someone said the effects were simple and effective. Although one person said the shots where the ropes being dragged by the killer could have been a bit darker, there was too much greenery. 

• Out of everyone we asked, every person said they would watch the rest of the film as our opening sequence was interesting and exciting. One said they wanted to carry on watching as they wanted to find out who the killer was at the end. Everyone said they enjoyed it. 

• Parts we were told could have been improved were again, the scene in the house as the acting wasn't convincing enough, the speed of the walking of the killer through the woods, and finally the production logo being shortened and maybe the volume turned down a slight bit.

Evaluation Question 2.

How does your media product represent particular social groups?

Stereotypicall assumptions for teenage girls:
The media stereotype female teenages to be moody, lazy, want to be socially excepted and conscience about there appearance. The two female characters in our opening sequence will be aged 16 typically this is when teenagers feel most stressed because of exams and future life decisions. In our opening sequnce they are going for a run, this supports my idea that they worry about what society thinks of them. In our opening squence Molly would be seen as a demsel in distress. We have represented this in our opening squence when Molly is pulled back by an older man and she results in sceaming out if fear.

Stereotypical assumptions for a middle aged male:
40 year old males stereotypically tend to have a lifestyle that they tent to repeat everyday and are 'set in there ways'. Males are typically stronger and more dominant in this case more minipulative to younger girls this would support Propp's character theory along with Molly being a damsil in distress.  They may also have a family and a middle class job in an office. 

In our opening sequnce we see the two teenages in a conventional way because they are running to improve their appearence. But on the other hand we also see them sociallising with eachother. Their clothes are also unconventional because they are not wearing tight outfits or a full face of make up. The idea of one of the girls being stalked in the woods also connotes that she is a easy target for the older male. 
We see the male in an conventional way, he is wearing black walking boots, big trousers, blue shirt and gloves. We decided on this outfit for the male because we needed something that would make him look stereotypical for the character. E.g. the blue shirt signifies that he is a male but by wearing a shirt rather then a polo this connotes that he could have a regular office job which is typical for this age group, the use of gloves connote that he doesnt want people to know what he is going although he is dragging around a rope in the forrest, the colour of his gloves are also black, this colour is signified to be scary and dooming. The gloves are also leather and not cotton this signifys that he is slik and is able to afford a more luxuary acsessories.

How did I attract / address my audience?

How we changed the opening sequence to meet audience expectations:

When we got our feedback we were confronted with a lot of negative comments about the first scene. This scene featured our character, Sarah, shouting up to her mum, saying "see you in a bit mum".  Our audience thought that this looked unrealistic therefore we decided to delete the first scene altogether making it more believable - the acting did not support the message we were trying to get across to the audience.  As a result, we had to ensure that the story line still made sense to the audience.

Genre signifiers:

Throughout our opening sequence we made sure that the audience were able to identify the genre, Horror. To do this, we included generic conventions of the colour 'black' to connote danger and fear.  We also made sure that all scenes were toned down in colour to make it appear darker creating an earie atmosphere.
As well as diegetic natural sounds e.g. cars, leaves. We also added a non diegetic background music which was of a deep tone, this would connote to the audience that something was about to happen.

How was the opening sequence engaging?

From feedback, our audience found the end scene more engaging. This was because by Sarah leaving several messages on Molly's phone, it created a narrative enigma and the suspense made them want to watch more to find out what has happened to her.  Over the title, we also used a whisper to make the audience feel on edge. 


Audience theory:

The gratifications are represented in our opening sequence by two teenagers going for a run as part of their normal routine. For our audience this can give escapism and entertainment needs away from their daily routines - as this opening sequence gives a horrorfying feeling.  It also supports social interaction theory as they can empathise with the two teenagers.  This raises questions like 'crime in daylight' - it does happen and creates awareness for safety. The target audience that is most likely for this opening sequence are social classes of D,C1, C2 these classes are suitable for this film because they have time to socialise and be apart of a social group. This brings me on to my  next point our opening sequence also applies bloomer and Katz theory. For example our target audience might see them selfs in the two teenage characters. This could also interconnect with Maslows hierarchy with self realisation and self steam from feeling apart of a group.

Evaluation Question 7.

Looking back at my preliminary task, what do i feel i have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

After producing the preliminary task, we then started to learn and discover more knownledge about final cut express and other equipment that we could use to improve our footage for our opening sequence. This included learning how to alter the lighting in our different shots to ensure that it was clear the the audience what genre our opening sequence was. We done this by making most of our shots darker to connote that it would be a horror. By having a darker setting it signifed that it was going to be a threatening, eary film. We also had to learn how to make the sound differ. This is because when we was filming there was cars driving past and in order to change the volume of the sound i would click on a tool on final cut express whiched looked like a founting pen, you could also change the volume in one clip by clicking where you would like to make the volume higher or lower (this would then look like a mountian). (We learnt many things which has been shown in evaluation 6. about how to use different softwares).  

Another software we used in the process of making our opening sequence was live type. This helped us to create our credits and title. To use this programe you would simply type in a box what you want to apear on the screen and then you would be able to choose a font, then choose a colour and then how you would want it to appear over a scene in our opening sequence by selecting an effect. 

From making our preliminary material we was able to practice a over the shoulder shot, a shot without use of a tripod,  which we then later used in our opening sequence. without practice this could have looked unproffesional. 

In the process of making our opening sequence we drew up a story board and had made a mood board for props, costumes and location. When filming our opening sequence we decided to change what we had originally put on our story board we done this because we thought that by changing it, it would make sence and wouldnt confuse the audience. The loaction and costume remained then same but the props did change due to the change in story line. We was originally using a phone to signify that Sarah's friend Molly had lost it and a shoe to connote that her friend was buried. 

Weekness (in our preliminary task):

When filming our prelimiary one of our weaknesses was having limited props, we only used a lamp and a peice of paper that had a suspects name on it. Where as a real document would have what offence they commited, who they was and some back ground information. Another was bad use in location. The location we used was in a drama class room were we was able to pull the curtians so that it was dark. But our prelim was meant to be an inspectors interview room. So when we filmed our opening sequence we made sure that we was filming in a suitable location. 

When we came to uploading our preliminary task we didnt add any affects, music, credit, a title or make any colour corrections.  Because we were unfamilier on how to do this. 

Essential aspects on making a good opening sequence:

• Making sure all group memebers attend filming and editing
• Everyone decideds on the changes and effects in our opening sequnece
• Use of a range of camera skills/angles
• Creativity
• Planning
• Organisation 

To conclude:
In conclusion we have progressed over the weeks of editing and filming our opening sequence. This includes learning how to use final cut express, live type, uploading youtube videos etc. All these things have helped develop our opening sequence and make it to our be of our ability.

In order to do our opening sequence we needed to make a story board.  This story board shows our ideas that we will be carrying out in our final sequence. We have included camera shots and how long they will last. We have not added dialogue for all of the shots because we are unsure when our music will be coming in or out.

Evaluation Question 3.

A film distributor is a company or individual responsible for the marketing of a film. The film distributor can play a huge factor in a film's success.  Distributors control the marketing and circulation of movies in theaters and also home viewing. Film distribution is important as it is the source of how the audience find out abut the film and how they feel about it. In addition to this, film distribution is how the companies make their money by selling their films and merchandise to the public.

Dimension Films and Twisted Pictures are two media institutions that would be suitable to distribute our opening sequence. This is because these companies are known for distributing films within the horror genre. Some of these films being...

Both Twisted Pictures and Dimension Films have a particular genre that is evident in the films that they distribute. There films are mainly of the horror genre however lots of them are specific to a 'slasher' sub-genre. Many of their films are quite graphic in the sense that they are bloody, gruesome and gory. The films listed above contain a lot of painful, disturbing deaths. For example, in Dead Silence, if you scream your tongue gets cut out. 

This in turn makes Twisted Pictures and Dimension films suitable for distributing our opening sequence. This is because it contains the distressing death of a teenage girl being hanged which fits into the horror genre that they provide for the public. Furthermore, if these film institutions were to distribute our opening sequence, it is likely that more people are going to get a clear idea of what our opening sequence for our film would entail because they may be aware of what other films the institution has distributed which would give them an idea of the quality of the film, they can then associate this with other films that they might of seen made by these companies, consequently making them more likely to go and watch the film. Similarly, if the film was made by 'Warner Bros' the film might come across has quite childish because they are know for making more family friendly films, therefore using institutions such as the ones above will ensure that the right ideologies are communicated to the audience. If this film was distributed by one of these companies, the audience are more likely to trust that the film will be as good as the others they have distributed, for example if they really enjoyed the Saw films, they might feel obliged to watch our film opening sequence too. 

For our opening sequence, we would expect these companies to distribute these films in a way that reaches out to as many people as possible (within the target audience of course) so that the film that can make enough profit. In order to do this, we would expect advertisement through television including adverts that would air later on in the evening (after the watershed) so that targeting an older audience who are able to actually watch the film is more likely to be achieved. Moreover, we would want our film opening sequence to be introduced on the news where they would interview cast members to give an insight on what the film is like and what goes on behind the scenes, i.e. how much they enjoyed shooting the film. Other forms of advertisement would include bill boards at bus stops and on buses themselves which would reach out to a wider audience because almost everyone uses public transport and sees some form of public transport throughout their day, especially if you live in built up busy areas. 

In addition to this, we would expect our chosen distributor to advertise our film opening sequence in cinemas where other age rated 15 films are shown that are of the horror genre as the audience would be more interested in watching a trailer for our film unlike an audience who have paid to watch a romantic film. It would be even better if our opening sequence was introduced to horror genre conventions much like the well known 'Comic con' as this would attract an audience that are really interested in the horror genre and are most likely to enjoy our film therefore giving our opening sequence a good, reliable reputation.

Changes to our opening sequence.

When filming our opening sequence we decided to change the storyline because we thought that it was getting to complicated for the first two minuets. Now we are going to have her friend Molly being hung by a mystery character. Instead of her finding her friend buried in the ground. We are going to show this by having flash backs of the murderer walking though the woods.

Murderer description:
Costume: Blue shirt, black puffy trousers and walking boots. The trousers and shoes are muddy to connote that the murderer has been walking though the woods looking for some body. The blue shirt connotes that it is a man. We have choosen this costume because we think that is would make it clear to the audience who the killer is and what he is wearing so they can identify that it is the same person thoughout. The murderer will also be wearing black leather gloves this is to signify that he doesnt want to be found and has thought carfully about revealing his identity.

Location: The location where the murderer is walking is the same place that Sarah is running this will create enigma for the audience as to if she gets murdered or her friend.

Props: A rope. We will be using this rope because it will signify that there is someone being hung. The rope will be dragged across the floor by the muderer. A phone will also be used because Sarah is going to call Molly to signify to the audience that she is fine before she is murdered.

Locations

Below are some pictures of the location we have chosen to film our opening sequence. The opening sequence is set in the woods therefore I have chosen several parts of the woods in which I think is most suitable for filming and we can test these when we begin our filming.

 

These photos illustrate a selection of areas in which we will potentially be shooting our opening sequence. Some photos (such as the second one down) shows the one of the shots we wish to include in our opening sequence, our main character Sarah will be jogging into the entrance. 

We chose to use this location because it's conventional to the horror genre; it's cold, isolated and eerie therefore it gives the audience this idea that something bad is going to happen in the woods or something bad has already happened in there. We'll be using Belmont Downs as our main location because the majority of events that create narrative enigma happen there, the only other location we'll be using is my front porch and my road and this is only for the first 30 seconds of the opening sequence. In terms of accessing this location there are no restrictions.

The entrance is just down my road and once you're in the woods, it's a very open space that is easy to find your way out- plus the fact that I know where I'm going due to walking my dog over there for many years. You don't need permission to film at the downs and there are no restrictions as to what can be filmed as far as I know. Lack of power points i.e. signal on our phones is likely to be seen as a problem (we might not get any) however whenever I've been there, I've always had signal and all 5 of us will have a phone with us so one of them is bound to have enough battery and signal in case we experience any problems or we need emergency help.

Furthermore, our location is not very busy at all; it's a vast place therefore we are unlikely to come across many members of the public other than the occasional dog walker or runner but taking into consideration the season and the time of day we will be filming as well as the areas we will be filming in the woods, there won't be much people around. On the other hand, we're likely to come across more members of the public whilst shooting on my road- people might be sitting at the bus stop, walking past or going into their house and there will be cars driving up and down the road which can either make the opening sequence more effective by reinforcing this idea that it's just another normal day until she reaches the woods or it could affect our opening sequence negatively by disrupting the filming and ruining the shots. 

Obviously we will be filming outside in a wooded area so it's going to be muddy and there is likely to be litter so we have to make sure we avoid areas that may cause harm to us e.g. contaminated areas or areas with broken glass. Additionally, we'll have to ensure we wrap up warm because filming could take half hour or 2 hours so we don't know how long we're going to be outside for. 

The other possible locations we were thinking about using were an abandoned hospital in Belmont, a barn in Burgh Heath, Epsom Downs (woods) Box Hill and alleyways (Stanley Park and Crossways) however we decided not to use these locations because they were inconvenient in terms of timing- it would be harder to travel to these places with our equipment and get the filming done at the right time, particularly because it's winter now so it gets darker quicker, therefore Belmont Downs made more sense in terms of convenience because it's local to the majority of my group and I live so close to it so if we need to discuss ideas or set up equipment we can do this at my house before going to film. Moreover, we were unsure on the restrictions of these locations, especially the abandoned hospital and the barn. The abandoned hospital is bordered up with a fence around it so the accessibility isn't appropriate and if we're not allowed in their, it would mean matters with the police, this applies to the barn too; we think it's owned by someone therefore it would be intruding on property that isn't ours.

1st day of filming

Today we started our filming for our opening sequence. Everyone in our group was able to attended. Equipment used: tripod, camera

props: earphones, jumper

Setting: house, porch, road

We used a number of shots that we had planned to use. These being: long shot, low shot, over the shoulder, medium shot.

We also recorded a monologue but had some difficulties hearing it due to the cars and natural surroundings. We also had to re do some of the shots because they wasn't either the shots we wanted or didn't manage to get what we wanted in the shots. Another problem was the lighting because most of our scenes are outside lighting will be an issue because it starts to get dark very quickly (4:00) we will have to make sure that one the different days that we film the we do it at the same time of day. We also know just by watching the clips that will will have to join the clips together so that they move smoothly and flow.

Social- Economic Group/Scale:

This is a grouping that is based on what kind of job some one has and how much money they earn.

A- Manger of a company, Earning top salaries. 

B- A manger of a department within a company, earns good money. E.g. Teachers, retail, office jobs.

C1- Supervisory jobs, earns living wage. 

C2- Skilled/ manual jobs. E.g  Electrician, plumber, hairdressers.

D- Semi- skilled, earns minimum wage. E.g cleaners, Gardeners.

E- Pensioners, students, the unemployed. 

Our opening sequence would apply to E, D, C2, C1. These social classes are appropriate for our opening sequence because E: students will want to see this film so they can fit in with there peers to enhance there social status and well being. D: earn a minimum wage therefore they would be able to afford they would be able to pay to watch films in the cinema. C1 and C2: this film would appeal to this social group as a luxury or social event. 

Demographic Group:

This is information based on the facts of somebody. This will include there:

• Age 
• Gender
• Class
• Ethnicity
• Nationality
• Sexuality 
• Ability/disability
• Relationship status
• Number of children.

The age group for my opening sequence would be 15-25 this is suitable because the genre of horror would enlighten them and give them adrenalin from watching this opening sequence. This film is aimed at both genders although there are two girls in our opening sequence men like to feel like the protectors. For example testing there fears while watching this. Stereotypically this film would be aimed at white British as it features two British characters. 

Lifestyle:

This is based on someones aspects of life. E.g:

• Fashion/style
• Personality
• Behaviour
• Values

Some one watching this might have a dareing personality who like to test there nervous. They might value there social group e.g. they might go and see this film so they can socialise with there friends. 

Young and Rubicams audience type theory:

The explorer- likes a challenge, often the first to try out new things, they want to seen as different and the first to discover things.

The aspire- Worry about what others think about them, they tend to have superficial values, care about appearance. And strive for status.

The succeeder- Strong goal and know where they want to be in life. Responsibility in society. They seek out the best because they want to be the best and feel like they deserve it. they also like a sense of control.

The reformer- They pride themselves on tolerance and are often seen as being intellectual. They will not by something because its new but to enlighten them. 

The mainstream- They like being apart of a big group and feel as though they fit in. They resound to family brands and value money. The like a sense of security. 

The struggler- These people believe in the saying 'you only live once' and make few plans for tomorrow. They are associated with being losers, a waste of space. They seek escape from the real word by eating junk food and consuming a lot of alcohol. 

The reformer- There aim in life is to survive. These people tend to be of an older age. They will have values that have been built up over time. They will enjoy traditions. 

This film would appeal to mainstreamers because they would like too feel like they fit in and by watching a film everyone else is watching they will be able to talk about the film with their particular social group. 

Maslows Hierachy Of Needs:

1. Physical needs- Food, water, air and sleep.
2. Safety and security needs- Being safe, healthy, employment, somewhere to live.
3. Love and belonging- A sense of belonging, community, friendship.
4. Esteem- Self esteem, confidence, respect.
5. Self actualisation- Creativity, independence, fulfilment.

This opening sequence might make people have a self actualisation within thr characters. Love and belonging would also apply because they would be able to build friendship with people who enjoyed this film. This would then enhance their self asteem because they feel apart of something.

Camera movement, shot and angles.

Mid shot from a high angle - of cups and tea pot we then realise the little girl is feeding her doll. This would signify to the audience that she is playing a game and would not expect anything to happen yet.  long shot from a low angle- the audience are now able to see three girls having a tea party with there dolls. mid shot- of the little girls faces. The audience will be able to tell from there facial expressions that something may happen and create enigma.  Long shot- all look towards camera as if something else is there. This would make the audience feel uneasy because they might feel like something is in the room with them. Then the girls all turn to look at window even though nothing is there this would create enigma for the audience. Zoom in to window from long shot- This would signify that something was about to happen. mid shot of cup smashing on floor to signify that she has dropped her possession and intend something has made her do that. Close up of girls hand opening window. To signify that something is about to happen the pace in which she opens it builds tension for the audience.

Props, costume and location.

The props used in this opening  sequence were: Cups, teapots, china dolls, chairs and a gram. All these props apart from the chair are antiques. They wold have used antique props so signify that the film is old and from a later time. The Location in which they used was in a bedroom, This was successful for them because they used the fact that it was a story high for the characters to jump out the window. This also worked for the produces because the three characters where playing with there dolls. The costumes that the three characters were wearing are also of an older fashion which would also connote that this film was set a while ago. There being white nighties this would signify purity and angelic of being a young age this would be expected. 

Music, dialogue, sound affects.

There is no dialogue in this opening sequence this is affective because it creates suspense and enigma for the audience.  The music was high pitch which supports my idea that this create enigma for the audience. Being high pitch makes it jarring for the audience and makes them feel uncomfortable. They emphasis the sound affects of the cup dropping on the floor to signify that they dropping them out of there control rather then placing them.

The audience will be able to signify that the characters are girls and of a younger age (5-9). I can tell this because of the dolls that they are playing with and the costumes they are wearing. When they look past the camera they are looking up at something this would signify there innocents. The room is also dark this would signify that there is something over powering them and that the characters are fearful. 

Genre of the film and how this is signified in the opening sequence.

The genre of the film is repented but the low lighting, the older looking props. At the end of this opening sequence the audience are able to recognise who they was looking at past the audience. It is a women in a black vale by having a clack costume could signify death and fear. The audience would fear this because she watched the three children jump out the window and the audience will be able to signify that she was the one who overpowered them.

Preliminary Task Evaluation.

How Filming went:

I thought filming went considerably well. At the beginning of our preliminary task we used a mid shot to signify someone walking in and out of a door. We also decided to zoom into a piece of paper which stated the name of the criminal. We done this so that the audience would recognise who the characters where. We then used the shot reverse shot to signify two people were talking. This was successful for our task because often this type of shot is used to represent conflict or a difference in charters. We also decided to use a lamp and shut the curtains because this would create a more dark location this went well because we wanted to just focus on the characters. Overall filming went particularly well and we managed to get all the shots we wanted in order to put our preliminary task together.

How editing went:

After filming all the different shot we learnt how to export them from the camera. We managed to put them in order and have a smooth dialogue. We decided not to edit any of our preliminary material because we agreed that it didn't suit the genre. For example when we put a fade in to two shots it was either to slow or the shots just didn't fit together. Nor did we change the lighting of any of the shots because we was able to create the lighting with the lamp.

Problems we encountered:

At first we was unable to get a lamp to use from one of our props but eventually found a lamp that we could borrow.  The first shot is located out side of the Drama studio if this was our real opening sequence we would of had to chose a different location because this wouldn't look very professional. At the beginning on the prelim the curtains are open (you can see this through the door) whereas when we film another shot the curtains are shut.

Strengths of our preliminary:

One of our strengths was being able to shut the curtains and use the lamp rather then having natural light and a lamp it wouldn't of had as an effect because the lamp was a source that we used to focus on the different characters.  We was also able to use the same people even though we filmed some shots on different days.

What we will do the same next time:

Think about what props we can use to create the lighting and set the scene. Use the same clothes regardless if its a different day of filming. (unless a clothes change is in the story line).

What we will do differently next time:

Think about editing more specifically and not just were we can place an effect in. Make sure small details are the same (e.g. the curtains) Pick the location more wisely.
